How Big is 52! (factorial) ?

HOW BIG IS 52!?

52! = 8.065817517 X 10^67

So, that's how big is this number. But how do we get the feel of this huge number?

Well, let's see...
Take a 5 set of unbiased suits of cards (that is 5 different deck of unbiased cards).
Take a timer and set it to 52! seconds.

Now, randomly put a card on a table make five such sets and continue to put a card until you get a Royal Flush.
Once you get a Royal Flush buy a lottery ticket.
Every time you win the lottery put a grain of sand in the Grand Canyon.
Once the Grand Canyon is filled with sand remove an ounce of rock from the Mount Everest.

You are not done yet...

Repeat the whole process 256 times and only then will you notice your timer to have turned off.
That's how magnificent is 52 factorial.

Still not convinced with its supercalifragilisticexpialidocious power

Here's another set of things that you could do to visualize the glory of this palatial number.

Stand on a place on earth and stay there for a billion years after which you take a step.
Once you take that one step stand there for next billion years.
Do this till the time you reach your starting point.
Once you have reached the starting point take a drop of water from the Pacific Ocean and store it in a bucket.
Do this until the Pacific Ocean dries out.
Once it is dried up fill it up again and keep a paper where you started.
Repeat this process until the stack of paper has reached the sun.

Even after doing all this tedious heart-wrenching job you haven't even reached close to the end of the timer.
Hence, repeat this process 1000 times ... and guess what you still just finished a third of the timer...
That's how big is the 52 factorial.

Wondering how big would be a Googol number (100^100) or what actually infinity is? Just click the links below to know more about them.
